Cathey, originally from Green Bank, N.J. has been a Cumberland County resident since 1983. She is a graduate of Oakcrest High School, an Alumni of Cumberland County College, an Alumni of Cumberland County College Board of Trustees, and a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Haleyville United Methodist Church.
Cathey is the proud mother of one daughter and grandmother of three. Her interests include spending time with family, traveling, camping, going on adventures(getting lost and finding the greatest places), reading and people.
